1. Information We Collect
When you create a Guester account, we collect your name, email address, and any show details you provide (such as podcast name, host bio, and show links). When you add a guest, we collect the guest's name, email, LinkedIn URL, and any other details you choose to enter. We also automatically research publicly available information about your guests to enrich their guest pages.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and host guest pages, send notifications to you and your guests, process subscription payments, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Guest Data
Guest pages are public by default. Information you enter about a guest — including their name, bio, photo, and social links — will be visible on their public guest page. Guests receive a PIN passcode that allows them to edit their own page. If you are a guest and would like your page removed, please contact the host or email us directly.
4. LinkedIn Integration
When you or your guest connect a LinkedIn account, we request access to basic profile information (name, headline, photo) and, with permission, the ability to post on LinkedIn. We store the OAuth token securely and only use it to import profile data or post content you explicitly approve. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time from the guest page editor.
5. Google Calendar Integration
If you connect a Google Calendar, we read your calendar events (titles, dates, and attendee emails) to automatically create guest pages for upcoming recordings. We only access calendars you explicitly authorize and only use the information to create guest pages and send you notifications.
6. Payment Processing
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data securely. We store your subscription tier and Stripe customer ID to manage your account.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We may use third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site. A live chat widget (Tawk.to) may be present on pages to provide support; Tawk.to may set its own cookies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Guest pages remain public until the host removes them or the account is deleted.
9. Third-Party Services
We use several third-party services to power Guester, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), SparkPost (email delivery), Tavily and Perplexity (web research), Anthropic (AI-generated content), LinkedIn (profile import and posting), Google Calendar (event sync), and Tawk.to (live chat). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information at any time from the dashboard. To request a full data export or account deletion, please contact us.
11. Children's Privacy
Guester is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
